What ShamRoute is
ShamRoute is a system delivery companies use to run their orders and their captains: a web console for managers and a captain app on the phone. These terms cover how companies and their captains use it.
Accounts
There is no self sign-up. ShamRoute creates the company's account, and the company creates the accounts of its managers and captains. The company is responsible for everyone it gives an account to and for what is done with it, and for closing the account of anyone who stops working for it. Keep your PIN or password to yourself, and do not give it to anyone.
Acceptable use
The company uses the system for its delivery work and within the law. It may not be used to carry anything the law forbids, to try to reach another company's data, or to disrupt or get around the system.
Money
ShamRoute records amounts — order prices, what the captain collects, balances and commissions — and never holds or moves money. Collecting, paying and settling between the company, its captains and its customers are the company's responsibility.
Data
The company is responsible for the data about its staff and customers that it enters into the system, and ShamRoute processes it on the company's behalf. What the captain app collects is explained in the privacy policy, and how a captain's account is deleted in Delete your account.
Availability
ShamRoute is in pilot. We work to keep the system available, but we do not promise that it will run without interruption or error.
Suspension and ending use
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the system or other companies at risk, and we tell the company when we do. The company can ask to stop using the system at any time.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we publish the new text on this page with its date.
